IET's Barge Drilling Program
IET operates its own dedicated barge fleet, providing a stable and maneuverable platform for environmental and geotechnical drilling in navigable waterways. Our barge-mounted drilling programs support marine site investigations, bridge foundation studies, over-water monitoring well installation, and in situ remediation injection at sites where access from shore is not feasible.
IET has completed barge drilling projects on major rivers, industrial harbors, and coastal waterways throughout the eastern United States. Our marine operations team coordinates all required permits, safety planning, and logistics to ensure efficient project execution. The barge platform supports CME rotary rigs and direct push equipment, providing flexibility for a wide range of over-water investigation and remediation needs.
