It is faster and generates less waste than conventional drilling, making it ideal for environmental site investigations, soil sampling, groundwater sampling, soil vapor surveys, and injection of remediation amendments. IET operates a large fleet of Geoprobe rigs specifically for direct push applications.

What is barge drilling and when is it needed?

Barge drilling is used when soil borings or monitoring wells must be installed in rivers, lakes, harbors, or other water bodies inaccessible from land. IET operates specialized drilling barges for marine and waterway investigations, bridge foundation studies, and environmental assessments.
