In-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) is an environmental remediation technique where chemical oxidants such as persulfate, permanganate, or hydrogen peroxide are injected into contaminated soil and groundwater to destroy organic contaminants like TCE, PCE, and petroleum hydrocarbons in place — without excavation.

Project Overview

IET performed comprehensive monitoring well and biosparge well installation services at the Bremen Release Site for Jacobs. The multi-week project included installation of 4-inch PVC wells (425 ft), 2-inch PVC sparge wells (933 ft), and a 2-inch monitoring well (35 ft), complete with IDW management, decontamination protocols, and flush surface completion.
