In-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) is an environmental remediation technique where chemical oxidants such as persulfate, permanganate, or hydrogen peroxide are injected into contaminated soil and groundwater to destroy organic contaminants like TCE, PCE, and petroleum hydrocarbons in place — without excavation.

The project combined 2,030 gallons of Emulsified Zero Valent Iron with an additional 1,800 lbs of ZVI and guar polymer for enhanced delivery, treating 31 injection points for chlorinated solvent remediation.
