In-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) is an environmental remediation technique where chemical oxidants such as persulfate, permanganate, or hydrogen peroxide are injected into contaminated soil and groundwater to destroy organic contaminants like TCE, PCE, and petroleum hydrocarbons in place — without excavation.

Project Overview

IET completed a comprehensive biosparge well installation project at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina as part of the Carolina ORC remediation program. The project involved drilling and installing 20 biosparge wells of varying depths, complete with well vaults and proper investigation-derived waste (IDW) management in accordance with military site protocols.
