TranslateCherry Hill NJ Persulfate Oxidation
Chemical oxidation project for Golder Associates utilizing sodium persulfate combined with zero valent iron-mediated Fenton's reaction. The program treated two distinct areas with customized reagent formulations delivered through IET's dual-injection methodology at multiple depth intervals.
Area A - High Intensity Treatment
10 injection points - delivered at 11-13' and 15-17' bgs in two equal injections
- 110 lbs ZVI per point (1,100 lbs total)
- 661 lbs persulfate per point (6,610 lbs total)
- 55 gallons of 50% H₂O₂ per point
- Delivered as 220 gallons of 12.5% H₂O₂ solution
Area B - Targeted Treatment
10 injection points - delivered at 11-13' and 15-17' bgs in two equal injections
- 110 lbs ZVI per point (1,100 lbs total)
- 125 lbs persulfate per point (1,250 lbs total)
- 22 gallons of 50% H₂O₂ per point
- Delivered as 100 gallons of 12.5% H₂O₂ solution
