In-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) is an environmental remediation technique where chemical oxidants such as persulfate, permanganate, or hydrogen peroxide are injected into contaminated soil and groundwater to destroy organic contaminants like TCE, PCE, and petroleum hydrocarbons in place — without excavation.

Project Overview

IET completed one of its largest enhanced bioremediation programs at 830 Kittle Road in Mio, MI for Job Site Services. This extensive project deployed 18,000 lbs of emulsified vegetable oil, 20,736 lbs of Zero Valent Iron, high-concentration bioaugmentation cultures, and specialized nutrients including anti-methanogenic reagent for optimized treatment conditions.
