In-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) is an environmental remediation technique where chemical oxidants such as persulfate, permanganate, or hydrogen peroxide are injected into contaminated soil and groundwater to destroy organic contaminants like TCE, PCE, and petroleum hydrocarbons in place — without excavation.

IET executed a major well abandonment project for Jacobs/CH2M in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, properly decommissioning 28 monitoring wells totaling 930 linear feet. The comprehensive project included removal of existing well completions, filling with bentonite pellets and cement grout, ground surface restoration, and preparation of all required NCDEQ GW-30 Well Abandonment Records.
