Atlas-Texas
Project Overview
IET provided direct push drilling services for an environmental site investigation in Stroud, Oklahoma. The project involved installation of temporary monitoring wells to characterize subsurface conditions and groundwater quality for an environmental consultant's assessment program.
Scope of Work
- Six direct push boreholes advanced to 25 feet below ground surface
- Conversion to temporary monitoring wells using 1-inch PVC well materials
- Complete field services including mobilization, drilling, well installation, and site restoration
- Rapid project execution completed within single mobilization
Technical Approach
Direct Push Drilling
IET's specialized DPT rigs allowed for rapid advancement of boreholes to the target depth of 25 feet. This method provides cost-effective site characterization with minimal surface disturbance and quick turnaround times.
Temporary Well Installation
Each borehole was converted to a temporary 1-inch monitoring well, allowing for groundwater sampling and hydraulic testing. Temporary wells provide flexibility for short-term assessment programs without long-term site commitments.
