IET Returns to the
2026 Battelle Chlorinated Conference
Innovative Environmental Technologies, Inc. (IET) is proud to return to the Fourteenth International Conference on Remediation of Chlorinated and Recalcitrant Compounds — one of the most important gatherings of environmental remediation professionals in the world. We've been part of this conference family since 2003, and we're looking forward to another outstanding event in the heart of Texas.
About the 2026 Battelle Chlorinated Conference
The Battelle Chlorinated Conference is the premier international technical conference for environmental professionals researching and applying innovative technologies for characterization, monitoring, cleanup, and management of sites contaminated with chlorinated and recalcitrant compounds. Organized and presented by Battelle Memorial Institute — a global science and technology enterprise headquartered in Columbus, Ohio since 1929 — this biennial event has grown into the most comprehensive forum for advances in ISCO, bioremediation, ISCR, emerging contaminants, and complex site management.
The 2026 conference is the Fourteenth International Conference in the series, held at the Fort Worth Convention Center (1201 Houston St., Fort Worth, TX 76102). Attendance draws environmental consultants, researchers, regulators, technology vendors, and DoD/federal agency representatives from across the United States and internationally.
With plenary sessions, hundreds of technical platform presentations, poster sessions, learning lab demonstrations, and short courses running May 31 through June 4, the conference represents an unmatched five-day immersion in the science and practice of environmental remediation.
IET at Battelle: Over Two Decades of Engagement
IET has participated in Battelle Chlorinated Conferences since 2003 — presenting over 50 times on case studies, new technology introductions, and comparative studies of remediation approaches.
For more than two decades, IET has been a consistent and active voice at Battelle. Our presentations have spanned the full breadth of in situ remediation science — from early field demonstrations of ferric iron-activated persulfate to multi-year comparative studies of ISCO versus bioremediation on chlorinated solvent sites. We have introduced new technologies to the Battelle audience, shared lessons learned from hundreds of field deployments, and contributed to the collective body of knowledge that drives the industry forward.
Our Battelle history includes presentations on:
- ✓Patented ferric iron-activated persulfate: field performance and longevity data
- ✓Comparative studies of ISCO vs. bioremediation for TCE/PCE sites
- ✓New technology introductions: EZVI, ISGS, combined remedies
- ✓Case studies from dry cleaner, industrial, DoD, and MGP sites nationwide
- ✓Enhanced bioremediation and bioaugmentation field programs
- ✓Injection system design innovations and multi-zone delivery approaches
- ✓Long-term monitoring data demonstrating rebound prevention
This deep institutional engagement with the Battelle community is a reflection of IET's commitment to science-based remediation and to advancing the field alongside our colleagues, clients, and competitors alike.
Meet the IET Experts at Battelle 2026
We're sending six of our best — a combination of national remediation experts and regional drilling specialists who collectively represent hundreds of field projects and thousands of hours of in situ remediation experience.
Michael brings decades of hands-on experience designing and implementing in situ remediation programs for chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, and mixed contamination. He has presented at multiple Battelle conferences on ISCO innovations and comparative technology evaluations.
Wade co-founded IET in 1998 and has led the company's national growth across 3,000+ projects. As a recognized industry authority, he has introduced several of IET's patented technologies at Battelle conferences and co-authored landmark presentations on ferric iron-activated persulfate.
Ian is a seasoned field specialist with extensive experience implementing bioremediation, ISCO, and ISCR programs at complex industrial and DoD sites. His presentations at Battelle have covered innovative field injection approaches and long-term monitoring results.
Brad leads IET's South Central drilling operations and brings a wealth of experience in direct push, rotary, and specialty drilling for remediation injection programs. His expertise is especially relevant for Texas and surrounding states, where IET has a deep project portfolio.
William is one of IET's most experienced environmental drilling professionals, with expertise spanning geoprobe services, barge drilling, and complex multi-zone injection systems. He has supported some of IET's most technically challenging site programs nationwide.
Aaron manages a broad portfolio of remediation projects with a focus on chlorinated solvent sites and petroleum hydrocarbon impacted aquifers. His systematic approach to remedy selection and performance monitoring has delivered consistent, documented results for IET clients.
Live Demos: IET's Free AI Tools for Environmental Professionals
One of the highlights of the IET booth this year will be live demonstrations of our three free AI-powered tools, available to any environmental professional directly through the IET website. These tools represent IET's investment in democratizing advanced remediation expertise — giving consultants instant access to the kind of analysis that typically takes days or weeks.
All three tools are free, require no account, and are available to any environmental professional at iet-inc.net. Swing by our booth for a personalized live demonstration with your own site data.
Find Us on the Exhibit Floor
The IET booth is located near the 2nd Entrance of the exhibit hall. The exhibit hall is open Monday through Thursday — see the conference schedule below for specific hours. Come early, come often — and don't miss the Welcome Reception on Sunday evening, May 31, where exhibits are open from 5:00–6:30 PM.
